Ed Martin, from Caron Treatment Centers
Let’s look at the spiritual side of being part of a family dealing with addiction.
Ed Martin is a member of the spiritual care team at Caron Treatment Centers and the primary spiritual care staff member on the men’s unit. He has worked in the field of addiction in a variety of roles over the past twenty years, including seven years as Transition Housing Director for Firm Foundation, a faith-based non-profit program assisting men to transition from incarceration and homelessness back into the community. Ed holds his master’s degree in pastoral counseling with a primary focus on crisis and trauma response. He is a certified addictions counselor and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Ed is also the proud father of six children, along with his wife and best friend Kelly. They reside near Hershey, PA.

Sam Albert, from Recovery Coaching Services
Let’s learn from the experience of a recovery coach!
Sam has over eighteen years in Recovery and thoroughly understands what addicted individuals are going through. He personally relates to the feelings and efforts of families. In addition, Sam is a Certified Recovery Specialist and a Certified Intervention Professional. Prior to co-founding RCS, he was a Recovery/Life Coach, Director Business Development/Recovery Coach with East Coast Recovery Services, Development Director of “Easy Does It,” and Owner of The Original Sammy’s Steaks and Fries. Sam’s passion is in finding the underlying cause behind each individual’s addiction to ensure a life in long-term recovery.
